Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.

The Ryerson University IEEE Student Branch was founded on January 2nd, 1963 by Ryerson’s Electrical Engineering students. Through the commitment of its team members and prevalence across campus, IEEE Ryerson has become a national award winning branch for its outstanding service to students.

Empower students by bridging the gap between industry and academia. The Student Branch aims to provide the exposure that students need to be successful in their field of work.

OUR PURPOSE

Inspire students to explore potential career pathways and enhance skill sets to succeed.

Connect to professionals in diverse fields in collaboration with the IEEE Ryerson Electronics Chapter (REC), IEEE Computer Society Ryerson Chapter (CSRC) and IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
